“The generosity is huge but it has never been so insufficient”

The Vice-President of the European Commission, Bulgarian Kristalina Georgieva calls to reform the humanitarian aid system.

Humanitarian funding system is on the brink of bankruptcy. To response to this challenge, among others, that humanitarian summit was convened in Istanbul in May 2016. Geneva hosted a preparatory meeting. Meeting with the Vice President of the European Commission, Bulgarian Kristalina Georgieva, former European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid, whose name circulates to succeed next year to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
