The religions of the Holy Land do not despair of peace

Religious leaders from several faiths met with former Israeli President Shimon Peres at Peres Center for Peace in Tel Aviv. “Together against terror and violence in the name of God” was the message from this meeting urgently convened by the former Israeli president, who. at age 92, still a respected moral authority in Israel and internationally.

Religious leaders have also called for calm and respect the sanctity and dignity of every human life. The attacks on both sides are useless, they argued.
