In the “Third World War fragmented” denounced many times by Pope Francis, the Vatican opposes a “diplomacy of charity”.
Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher is the man who embodies it.
61, British, was appointed Secretary for Relations with States by the Sovereign Pontiff early 2015 to replace the French Cardinal Dominique Mamberti. He has been apostolic nuncio in Burundi.
